Dianna Lynn... A thoroughly charming little girl, Lady, as she became known as, was exactly the opposite of Darrick.  She was in a rush.  To put things in perspective, we lived approximately 20 kilometers from the base if you used the autobahn.  Dianna decided it was time and would not take no for an answer.  My poor little Volkswagen beetle was flat out (which for a beetle probably wasn't that fast) as I came to the off ramp.  That was when Dianna made it really apparent that it was NOW and the end result was that I got a swat on the side of the head.  However, we made it after rejecting the idea of delivering and proceeding because we were fairly close. And it was close.

Dianna is a really good artist.  She has training in graphic arts but pursued a career in the Canadian Forces as well. Downsizing resulted in very early retirement from that career but she kept active by serving in the Air Reserve Augmentation Unit working out of the environmental offices at 14 Wing Greenwood.
